Garbage In, Garbage Out - There's some fear running about that now that Google has gotten into the satellite imaging business our privacy has gone out the door. Not quite true. I entered some addresses I know exactly and it didn't give the right location. Try it, see how accurate it is. Further, there were some sections of the map that were either badly out of date or so grainy as to not be of use to someone gathering intelligence data.

Overall its a useful tool and a fun toy, but its limits in terms of real-time intelligence constrain its use as a weapon. Your analysis is only as good as your data.

Poetry - There's a poetry form called the Ghazal, which originates in the Arabia-India region. In English it sounds like "guzzle", but not quite - "ghuhzul" is a closer transliteration. The format is very specific. In short, a Ghazal is a collection of independent two-line couplets (often totaling 10 lines), in which the first couplet has the same word at the end of both lines. All the couplets are of the same meter, have the same last word on the second line, and the same rhyming pattern for each couplet line. An example:

I have one very favorite book
I read it every day, this book.

It's changed my life and straightened me out
I treasure greatly this wondrous book.

It guides me and teaches me, making me wise
order, comfort, and life rest come from this book.

When troubled I consult it and meditate slow
The trick is to hear from the author of the book.

The trouble it takes is beat by the good
The Bible is my most favorite book.

It's my first effort, so the roughness is understandable. Though not a basis for music Ghazals are often presented in song, often in the Urdu language. More info is at the Wiki.
