Unknown Blog - Plumbing the depths of the TLB Ecosystem below a certain point can be time consuming and fruitless. There's a lot of cruft out there - whether its a blog is dead, comatose, or boring, it can get listed. The idea of the unknown blog is to highlight blogs lower on the scale than I that deserve to be higher. We at the bottom know how dreary Wiggly Worm status can be (most of us, however, don't care).

This time, however, I decided to highlight someone slightly higher than me (14,020 versus my 14,047). A Wretched Hive of Scum and Villiany.

Small Correction - My assertion yesterday that the only two types of people in the Bible who have dreams (with the exceptions from Genesis) was wrong. There are others, including the born again and a Midianite. I won't bother to comment on the word study any more until I finish it.

Writer's Block - I'm writing a political screed about parties but it will have to wait, since it needs to be fleshed out a lot more. In the meantime you can either peruse the GreyMatter archives for other screeds or peruse the Center for Military History Online Bookshelves.

I'm also thinking of writing a book. The working title is "This Is My Rifle: American Military Rifles, 1775-2005". It would be an expanded version of the History Carnival entry. Would you buy it, fair reader?

MP3s - I'm in the midst of re-ripping all my CDs to MP3. So far I'm about two thirds done and it takes up 3.41 gigabytes. After this is done I'll start searching for a portable MP3 player that suits my purposes - it has to hold my MP3 collection, receive AM and FM signals, and be playable in the car stereo. As far as I know only the iPod can come close to that, since you can buy after-market tuners that broadcast the music to a station your car receiver can hear. But I don't like the iPod interface - its not intuitive and I have to give money to Steve Jobs.

Any suggestions?
