The Changes In The Star Wars DVDs

DVD Answers has posted their summaries of the changes in the Star Wars episodes over the years, highlighting the "progress" made towards the latest DVD release. The most offensive: Luke wields a green lightsaber when practicing on the Millenium Falcon, en route to Alderaan. When he ignites it in Ben's house, it's blue. Disgusting. But the sound glitch is pretty bad too.

Episode 4
Episode 5
Episode 6

Save your money. Wait until the ultra-super-final collectors edition comes out, then get that. If it doesn't stink.
1100 05Nov2004: Oh bloody hell. My boss has informed me that George Lucas has released the trailer for Episode 3 - to his special club members. Those of you who want to see it without signing away your inbox to spam have to wait until Monday. I wish he would just finish this thing and put us out of our misery. What happened in the past 28 years (!) to bring Star Wars down to this level of cruft?
