Victory

Now is not the time to gloat, celebrate, or party. Now is the time to kneel and pray thankfulness for a peaceful resolution of the election, decisive and clearly settled.

Results:
White House
Senate
House of Representatives

Turns out that how I decided to vote on the AZ propositions exactly matched the results. Bam! That's cool. But I don't think I'll get into predicting electoral college votes - that's way above my pay grade.

Meanwhile, on the left wing ...
Daily Kos says "Howard Dean for DNC Chair ... Keep Nancy Pelosi [house minority leader] ... Dick Durbin for Senate Minority Leader." So much for bipartisanship. Jerome Armstrong agrees on the Zowie Howie idea. I guess they won't be taking the civility pledge.

I will, modified to reflect the latest news and my views.

I promise to:

  • Support the President but not blindly.
  • Criticize the President when necessary.
  • Uphold standards of civilized discourse in blogs and in media while pushing both to be better.
  • Unite as a nation, putting God over country over party, even as we work together to make America better.
Anyone else?

I've already made that vow.

I was proud of my electoral predictions:

I only missed Wisconsin.
