Marines: Riflemen To The Core

You gotta love snipers. They come in and hand the enemy his own buttocks, wherever they may be. Here's a story about some Marine Scout Snipers: 1/23 snipers reclaim city from insurgents

Fedora Tip: Hamilton's Pamphlets

Speaking of snipers, they would have hated this morning's weather here in Tucson. As Jeremy notes, there was a thick fog this morning. Snipers hate that. Not only does it limit their mission (scouting), but when they send the bullet downrange the shockwave makes the trail of the bullet visible in the mist. It's like waving a big red flag that says "Here I am! Shoot me!"

Enjoy the weekend. My voting decisions will be posted Monday. It's taken a bit of time to write it up, and I am going to finish it this weekend.
