Bringing In The Big Guns
So John Kerry has brought in Bill Clinton to help with his campaign's last days (double entendre alert). Let's review a few things:
Bill Clinton's record in the first two years ushered in the Republican Congress and helped keep them in power for the rest of his term.
Al Gore avoided being linked to Bill Clinton like the plague in his campaign for President. He lost anyway.
George W. Bush had massive down-ticket wins in 2002.
George W. Bush is not bringing in anyone from the Republican ticket to campaign with him, he's campaigning on his own merits.
Conclusion: Kerry's coattails are poisoned. Expect GWB and the Republicans to gain big time in the House and the Senate. Also expect GWB to win reelection by an ever-growing margin.
