Kickoff!

It was a mixed weekend, football-wise. I don't really follow the game, except occasionally, preferring to check scores instead of watching, raptly, the glowing phosphorescence on Sunday afternoon and Monday evening. That being said, I have some allegiances. I like the Steelers (just because), I like the Cowboys (Jennifer is from Texas), I like the Eagles (JG.com influence), and I don't like the Broncos (again, just because).

Opening weekend was mixed.

The Steelers beat the Raiders, 24-21 (good thing)
The Cowboys lost to the Vikings, 35-17 (bad thing)
The Eagles beat the Giants, 31-17 (good thing)
The Chiefs lost to the Broncos, 34-24 (bad thing)

Aside: Matt,
There is one thing that Dallas and Philadelphia fans can both agree on.

You cannot like the Cowboys AND the Eagles. Its just not possible.

You'll only frustrate yourself.
Its like trying to like the Red Sox AND the Yankees. It can't be done!

There's an easy solution to the Dallas-Philly rivalry.

Watch the Steelers game when the Eagles play the Cowboys.
