Bumper Stickers - 1

Saw this on a bumper sticker yesterday:

The last time someone listened to a Bush people were led around in the desert for 40 years.
Stickers like this bug me, because they profess to know scripture but to the one who studies the Bible, its obvious they haven't.

Three short points. First, its referring to Exodus 3, where God (not a Bush) spoke to Moses. Second, Israel did not get led around in the desert because the listened to the Lord, they were led around because they were a rebellious generation, who feared men more than they revered God. Third, the more accurate thing to say would be "The last time someone listened to a Bush, Israel was freed from slavery".

People shouldn't use the scripture for such irreverent political insult.
