John Kerry's First Purple Heart

There are elements and evidence of deception in John Kerry's past, and that is the primary reason I am not going to vote for him. If he can't even tell a story that matches the facts, he is not only a deceiver but also grossly condescending if he expects us to believe it.

To quote my dad:

And for THIS Kerry received the Purple Heart? In essence, a self-inflicted wound! According to the crew it was NOT from enemy fire. This one Kerry does NOT deserve. He may deserve the other two, but NOT this one. And on top of it all, because he received three Purple Hearts, he was able to ask (and received permission) to rotate home after four months of duty. What a sorry-ass so-in-so. And I had to spend one year and four extra days.
Contrast Kerry's behavior with that of another serviceman recently in the news.
