Battle of the Billboards - the conclusion

You may remember my two rants a while ago about billboards and local businesses. Jennifer and I were going somewhere a couple days ago and she made the interesting observation that no politically unusual or inflammatory remarks had been made on the Roses & More signs the past few days. As a matter of fact, she couldn't remember anything since about Feb. 10th that had been on the left of the political spectrum.

I remembered.

He had put up a sign that said that this had been his best Valentine's season ever.

Jennifer proceeded to make the comment that perhaps the whole lefty political blabberings had been in an effort to drum up business, and perhaps he wasn't as sincere in his beliefs as we were led to believe.

I had a gut feeling that she was right, but only time will tell. If he's still not putting up leftist slogans in March or April or August, then we've all been duped. If he is ...

... he won't get my any more of my business.
