01/19/2004 Entry: "A Completely Unacceptable Situation" Posted by Maynard @ 03:17 PM MST A Completely Unacceptable Situation This is absolutely ridiculous. Not that our soldiers shouldn't have body armor. Not that their loved ones shouldn't care for them. The problem is that OUR OWN GOVERNMENT can't (or won't?) issue it. This has got to stop. I don't normally recommend that people contact their government representatives (since it usually results in a complete waste of time), but GOOD GRIEF, why don't they have basic combat essential equipment??????
