Israeli Diplomat Opens a Can in Sweden

Whether that is a can of whoop-@$$ or a can of worms, you be the judge.
Israel Diplomat Defends Attack on Bomber Art in Stockholm

The piece that enraged the ambassador, "Snow White and the Madness of Truth," was in the museum's courtyard and featured a large basin filled with red fluid. A boat floated on top carrying a photo of a smiling Hanadi Jaradat, a woman who became a suicide bomber,
more accurately known as a murderess. Here's a picture of the 'art' display.

killing 22 people in an Oct. 4 attack on a restaurant in Haifa. The work was created by Dror Feiler, an expatriate Israeli artist living in Sweden, and his Swedish wife, Gunilla Skold Feiler.
A few questions that the 'reporter' ignored:
Why is the artist an expatriate?
Did the artist intend to portray the murderess as having blood on her hands?
If so, why include the name "Snow White", implying purity, in the title?
If so, why choose a portrait of the murderess that portrayed her as smiling and kind?
Does the NY Times need real reporters instead of ones that throw together a few quotes and file the story, then call it a day? If so, I could submit a resume.
"We want to give him a chance to explain himself," Anna Larsson, a spokeswoman for Sweden's Foreign Ministry, was quoted as saying by Agence France-Presse. "We feel that it is unacceptable for him to destroy art in this way."
Apparently, Zvi Mazel (the Diplomat) thinks it is better to destroy art than destroy people.

Let's pose a not-so-rhetorical question: if the display had in some way depicted or glorified Hitler, would eyebrows be raised at the Diplomat's behavior or the artist's display? Certainly the Diplomat would be excused for his righteous indignation at such a display, so why is he not excused now, since the current enemies of Israel have dedicated themselves to the destruction of Israel? Certainly Hitler would have approved of the Palestinian attacks on Israel, so if Hitler and the Palestinians would be in agreement why should the Diplomat be expected to behave differently?

But the more important question, as addressed by Jed Babbin, is what kind of culture breeds such displays?
