The Battle of the Billboards
On Broadway Road here in Tucson there are two businesses that make entertaining use of their billboards. One is Rocco's Pizza, the other is Roses & More.
Roses & More:
Think people: what would Jesus do with one trillion dollars
one ego trip to Mars or build 10000 hospitals
Rocco's:
Keeping the politics out of your pie
Roses & More also has a Howard Dean for President poster in their front window. Now, I'm all for freedom of speech, but with every right comes a responsibility. And where there is responsibility, there are consequences.
I wonder if Roses & More considered that there comments & their sign might drive away business. I also am wondering what Inglis Florists charges for roses, and what a Rocco's pizza tastes like...
