01/08/2004 Entry: "DOS: Dunderheads Overseeing School" Posted by Maynard @ 03:21 PM MST DOS: Dunderheads Overseeing School Let me get this straight: a student, obviously bored with the computer education provided by his school, get some help from his dad and uses DOS (!) to send a text message to a bunch of computers. He then gets suspended for his extracurricular work. When I was this kid's age, students got suspended for bringing guns to school, fighting, and actual legitimate disturbances of schooltime. This is friggin' ridiculous, and the teacher and principal of the school should be fired for incompetence, since they think that this is disturbing the school instead of extracurricular education.
