Why I'm not buying the Matrix Reloaded

I usually find good quotes on other people's websites, and James Lileks is no exception. Of course, his being a professional writer does have something to do with it. Anyway, He was at Target the other day doing some shopping and said the following to a stockboy:

“It sucks,” I said, holding up the Matrix box. “But I know I’m still going to buy it.”

Fortunately, I'm not bound by such slavery. He went home and watched it while doing some more writing,
Yes, the Matrix is running in a window in the corner of the screen. And yes, I’m rooting for Agent Smith. He has one thing no one in Zion has: Style.

Amen to that. The first Matrix was good enough, but then the W. bros. fell into the curse of popular directors: the thought "we can make another one, but better!"

And no, I probably won't buy the third one either, but I might, if I can get in for free, see it.

Maybe.
