FeedReader

It's not often that I endorse a piece of software, but this one I came across yesterday and I absolutely love it. Some of you may be wondering "What's the use of that little blue 'RDF' icon on the left of the screen?' That is a link to my RSS stream, which provides a summary of the headlines on MM.net. FeedReader is a tool for Windows that collects RSS feeds from around the Net and summarizes them for you, presenting the headlines to websites in a convenient, easy to read format. It requires IE, and it had a few problems (like not being able to sort the list of headlines by name or date) and it is an prerelease quality build. But it does its job effectively: you can quickly scan the headlines of the sites you read, as long as they have an RSS feed available.

RSS, by the way, stands for Really Simple Syndication. RDF is RSS Data File.
