Patience, Young Padawan!
Alright, I've had enough. Three movies came to my attention this weekend as new or upcoming DVD releases: Star Wars 2, Attack of the Clones, Spider-Man, and The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. Now, we know that each of these movies is going to be released in a boxed set. We know that each of these movies has lots of material cut out. In the case of LOTR:FOTR, the new 4-disc set has an extra hour of material, for a total of a 4 HOUR MOVIE. There is also another hour that was left behind on the cutting room floor, from what I've heard. Now, knowing that, why in the world would anyone want to buy it on DVD now? Just wait, your patience will be rewarded with a complete boxed set that has everything the superfan could want. Likewise for the Star Wars movies, and to a lesser extent Spider-Man.
