I don’t get it. They get at least part of what they want, and they are still in a position to negotiate for more. Ask any homeless man what he would prefer: half a loaf or none. He’ll always say half. I can understand why Israelis would oppose it (it fundamentally undermines their security), but that is the reason the Palestinians would support it.
I don’t think its a good idea, since it would establish a terrorist-supporting nation in the heart of a democracy in the Middle East. Not good for regional stability. But the Palestinian attitude of all-or-nothing is ridiculous.
