With the USAF currently between shows in Mideast Tour 2001-02, I decided to bring out some pictures from an Air Show they put on several years ago at Williams Air Force Base (now a civillian airport). They had some seriously big boned planes on display, and I thoroughly enjoyed taking pictures of them. I’ll scan some more slides in later, including some of the F-15 Eagle and F-16 Thunderbirds.

Leonid Insanity
When I was in third grade, I had to read this short story about a little girl and her grandmother, who were going to see their last really big meteor shower together before the grandmother died. The shower was called on account of moonlight, and the little girl was depressed until her grandmother comforted her. It was a very bland story, the purpose of which I completely forget. The Leonids are supposed to peak tonight, and its supposed to be storm. But the feeling in my soul is that it will not be a storm, and that most people will be disappointed, especially since most won’t take the effort to go out and watch them away from city lights. But take heart, they’re just rocks. There will be more, trust me.

Social Experiments to Play on People Conduct in Public
I was bored the other day, so I decided to put some ideas on paper that I had heard some sociologist studies majors mention that they had tried once. I also decided to add my own. He He He.

Patience, Young Padawan!
Alright, I’ve had enough. Three movies came to my attention this weekend as new or upcoming DVD releases: Star Wars 2, Attack of the Clones, Spider-Man, and The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. Now, we know that each of these movies is going to be released in a boxed set. We know that each of these movies has lots of material cut out. In the case of LOTR:FOTR, the new 4-disc set has an extra hour of material, for a total of a 4 HOUR MOVIE. There is also another hour that was left behind on the cutting room floor, from what I’ve heard. Now, knowing that, why in the world would anyone want to buy it on DVD now? Just wait, your patience will be rewarded with a complete boxed set that has everything the superfan could want. Likewise for the Star Wars movies, and to a lesser extent Spider-Man.
